A Short Update

Sorry about not posting in quite some time. Things have been hectic here. Just to let you know:

Grandma continues to do well, she has had her 2nd round of chemo and is tolerating it well (the last I knew). She is officially Stage I primary peritoneal cancer. Please keep her in your prayers.

Joanne is staying strong and doing as well as possible. She is officially stage IVd ovarian cancer (although her Dr. disagrees with Johns Hopkins and calls it stage IIIc), and has started chemo. Apparently, Johns Hopkins thinks the nodules in her lungs and spots on her liver are metastacies from her abdomen. Her Dr. doesn't think so, and since he was the one messing around inside her body...Well, I'd rather go with his staging. But either way, it's not the great diagnosis we were hoping and praying for. We would appreciate prayers for Jo is this difficult time.

Ben and I traveled to visit the family over Easter, and we're glad we went- even though it was a long trip as usual. We saw my mom in between Grandma and Dad's house, and then saw Auntie Joy on the way out of the state.

We don't have a whole lot of new news over here with Ben and I. The kitten is getting bigger and more feisty every day. Thunderkitty has decided to deal with it. They have a new cushion at the top of the stairs (1st landing) and they love it. I still don't have the Christmas tree down and put away yet. I know, you're all super surprised... (hee hee) Our attic is getting closer to finished, with the 1st phase anyhow. I'll have pictures of that and Easter sometime soon(I hope).

Our love to everyone and Thank You for your prayers and positive thoughts!
